New Ring Styles Expand Consumer Options

tungsten ringNot everyone wants a plain metal band; but, even choosing a plain metal band can call for some additional decision-making. Nowadays, wedding bands can be encrusted with diamonds, gemstones, or even pearls. Women’s and men’s bands alike can be found in all shapes and sizes with any and all of these stones. In addition to various stones, the different metal options used to make these rings have increased. Aside from your traditional gold band, one may choose from platinum, titanium, or tungsten carbide in creating the perfect band. Platinum rings make a great substitution for white gold. They are made up of about twenty percent or more precious metal than white gold which helps to make them stronger, shinier, and more long-lasting. Titanium rings weigh less and are more affordable than gold or platinum bands. They are also lower maintenance and more durable than gold rings. Tungsten rings, however, are by far the strongest of all rings. One of the greatest appeals of tungsten is its ability to remain shiny and brilliant over time requiring no maintenance to keep it that way. These rings are also affordable and hypoallergenic. In addition to the natural silver color, these rings may also come in gold, chocolate, black and/or white. They may come with inlays, diamonds, or a number of other unique options. The sheer variety offered by these bands paired with their unmatched durability has expanded their newly found place in the market.
